Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using Attention Forest ("the app", "the service") at attentionforest.app, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the service.

The service is operated by Business Game Changer (businessgamechanger.biz), based in Limoges, France. You can contact us at communitymanager@businessgamechanger.biz.

2. Description of service

Attention Forest is a web-based platform that provides a finite daily feed of curated content and a personal virtual forest that grows through user interaction. The service is available in a free tier and a paid Premium tier.

The service requires an internet connection and a modern web browser or PWA-compatible device.

3. Accounts

You may create an account using your email address (via magic link) or your Google account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activities that occur under it.

You must provide accurate information when creating your account. You may not use another person's account without permission.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in abusive behaviour, or are used for fraudulent purposes.

4. Premium subscriptions

Attention Forest Premium is available for £4.99/month, billed through Gumroad. By purchasing a Premium subscription, you agree to Gumroad's terms of service in addition to these terms.

Premium features are activated by entering a valid licence key on the Premium page at attentionforest.app/premium. Each licence key may only be used on one account.

You may cancel your subscription at any time through Gumroad. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial months.

5. Real tree planting

Attention Forest Premium includes a commitment to fund real tree planting through One Tree Planted (onetreeplanted.org). We are transparent about how this works:

We donate to One Tree Planted on behalf of active Premium members. We will make our first donation once we have reached a meaningful number of Premium members, and we will notify all Premium members by email when this occurs.

We cannot guarantee a specific planting date, tree species, or geographic location. Our commitment is to make a genuine donation to One Tree Planted for each active Premium subscription on an annual basis.

6. Content

Content cards displayed in the daily feed are curated or generated by Attention Forest. We make reasonable efforts to ensure content is accurate, positive, and appropriate, but we do not guarantee the accuracy of all content.

User-generated content (reflections) remains your property. By submitting a reflection, you grant us a licence to store and display it within your account. We do not share your reflections publicly.

We reserve the right to remove content that violates these terms or applicable law.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the service to: - Violate any applicable laws or regulations - Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the service - Interfere with or disrupt the service or its servers - Use automated means to access the service without our permission - Impersonate any person or entity - Submit false, misleading, or harmful content

8. Intellectual property

The Attention Forest name, logo, design, and content are owned by Business Game Changer and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

The forest imagery, animations, and visual assets are proprietary to Attention Forest.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Business Game Changer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Privacy

Our collection and use of your personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, available at attentionforest.app/privacy. By using the service, you consent to the practices described in the Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or by displaying a notice in the app. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of France. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of France.

For users in the United Kingdom or European Union, you retain any statutory rights that cannot be waived by contract.
